TLA is dedicating the 1st Headline story to Richard and Virginia Foulk of Benton, IL

Richard and Virginia Foulk played a key role in teaching the 4 F's in life of FAITH, FAMILY, FUN and FORTUNE and in that order. They have lived an exemplary life and have been a role model to many. It has been said "they are the epitome of greatness". They just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 12, 2011. They got married one day after Richard graduated from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL where he received and played on the 1st ever golf scholarship offered by the University.

Richard and Virginia both accomplished their life's goals together.  Their goal of having a family, teaching the aspects of creating visionaries and being an inspiration to believe in anything you want to be as long as you have FAITH, coupled with Richard's personal goals of being a golf professional and an entrepreneur and Virginia's personal goals of being a homemaker and a teenage recording artist.

Virginia was part of the trio "The Knight Sisters" of Benton, IL as a teen in high school. When she was 17 they signed with Decca Records out of Nashville and recorded at the Owen Bradley Studio's. They recorded "Wooden Head Willie" and "Confess" on the Tempwood V label (Wooden Head Willie is now compiled on CD along with other recording artists on the Buffalo Bop label 55089). Playing instruments on the recordings are well known artist legacy's to the music business, Boots Randolph on saxophone and Floyd Kramer on piano. Click here to listen

Richard became a golf professional directly out of college before going into banking, school administration, IRS, and for 33 years he has been an entrepreneur owning his own accounting and tax service. Even though he went on to pursue his entrepreneurial passions he still has passion for the game.
